"Girl, so confusing featuring lorde" is a remix version of "Girl, so confusing", a song by English singer Charli xcx from her debut remix album, Brat and It's Completely Different but Also Still Brat. It was released on October 11, 2024 as the tenth track of the album through Atlantic Records. The song was written by Charli and its producer A. G. Cook, and it deals with Charli's strained relationship with another female musician.
Upon its release, fans and critics speculated about the subject of the song, with the most popular option being New Zealand singer-songwriter Lorde. On June 21, 2024 a remix would be released featuring Lorde that included a new second verse, confirming that she was, infact, who the song was about.
In an interview with Billboard, Charli stated that she texted Lorde the day before the Brat album release stating that the track was about her, in which they had a conversation about their relationship, with Lorde suggesting a remix where they “work it out”.
Upon release, the song gained positive reactions, with Clash giving the song a 9/10.
